In this article I have reviewed my Top 2 Background Check search sites so that you don’t have to waste your time exploring all the dead ends. After signing up for dozens of services, I ranked them in terms of accuracy, size, ease of use, and customer awareness. My findings apply to all of the popular Public Record sites listed in the major search engines! (Google, MSN, Yahoo)
What was amazing was how inconsistent results were! After joining dozens of “Background Check search” sites and searching for people I knew (friends, family, celebrities), about 7 out of 10 sites could not locate records of any people I knew… anywhere!
The good news: The 2 sites below all have solid reputations and positive customer feedback. They will save you time and money and get you the most accurate Background Check, hands down. Here they are, in order of rank:

The name says it all: Background Searcher is a solid tool for locating anyone anywhere in the U.S. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles nor size of database compared to Net Detective, but with a money back guarantee and unlimited searches you cannot go wrong with this online service. |

Please… do your own testing and comparison of Background Check, background records, and people search sites. There are so many out there–just Google “Background Check”. While my preferred tool meets my needs, your needs may be different from mine! Best of luck and happy digging!

I am joseph henry charleston and I’m 6 years into changing my life around. I’ve moved to Texas and have been doing everything I can possibly do to do the right things. I have a feeling that my history which is very extensive is the reason I am having so many problems. I do not have a credit card or bank account nor have I ever, I am honest when applying for jobs with exception to revealing my whole past. I would really appreciate knowing and seeing how far back these3 backround checks go and what they show. I would be very grateful and appreciative if you could send me this via e-mail to me in good faith and trusting and believing in my sincerity. thank you and God Bless, MERRY CHRISTMAS
Hi Joseph:
It will depend on what the person is searching for as to what records they find. Employers are typically looking for criminal records, lawsuits and credit history. Landlords may only look at credit history, evictions, etc. There are many different types of records to search. When someone performs a search they are accessing a variety of databases. We cannot give you a blanket answer as to how far back the records go as each database is different.
If you want to see what your background shows, it would be wise to perform a background check on yourself.
